It rained the whole afternoon in Bandung, and Daniel was the only person on the street with an umbrella — which he handed to a stranger with wet shoes and a box of pastries she was trying very hard to save. Maya gave it back three days later, over coffee. She has still not returned it, technically.
The years between
Six years of small things: the same corner table, a shared playlist nobody else is allowed to see, two flights home for one Lebaran, one very stubborn cat. We learned that love is mostly logistics done kindly — and that we are very good at it together.
December 2025
On a quiet morning in Cisarua, with the hills still holding their fog, Daniel asked a question he had been carrying for months. Maya said yes before he finished it. We are getting married on that same hillside, and we would love for you to be standing there with us.
And that is the whole story so far. The next chapter has a date, a hillside, and a seat with your name on it.

Dress code
Garden Formal
Terracotta, sage, cream and warm neutrals. Block heels are kindly suggested — the lawn is soft underfoot, and the evening turns cool once the sun drops behind the hills.
The programme
So you know when to arrive, when to eat, and when the dancing starts. Nothing here is strict except the ceremony.
15:30
Cold towels and iced tea at the gate. The ushers will walk you up to the chapel and find your seat.
16:00
Vows on the hillside, both families standing with us. Around thirty minutes, and please keep your phones in your pockets — we have hired someone for that.
16:40
Dried petals at the chapel steps, then family portraits on the lawn while the light is still soft.
17:30
Drinks and small plates under the frangipani, with live acoustic sets until the sun drops behind the ridge.
18:30
Seated dinner in the Garden Pavilion. Find your name on the seating chart by the entrance.
19:30
Both fathers, one best friend, and whoever else can be talked into it.
20:15
The song we have argued about for four months. The floor opens to everyone straight after.
22:00
Sparklers down the drive, and shuttles back to the guest houses on the half hour.

Truthfully, the only thing we need on the day is you on that hillside. But several of you have asked, so here is the honest answer.
We are slowly filling a small place in Bandung — a proper dining table is next, and it is embarrassing how excited we are about it.
Boats, bad snorkelling technique, and nowhere to be. If you would like to send us somewhere in particular, tell us where in your RSVP note.
